Custom Mosaic Mural | Porcelain Tile

HOW DOES IT WORK?

CHOOSE YOUR IMAGE: 

We can create a mural from a wide variety of images, including graphics, photographs, logos, textile patterns and more.

Please make sure the height and width dimensions of your image correspond to the dimensions of your space. 

CONFIRM YOUR MEASUREMENTS: 

Confirm the measurements of your wall/floor space.

We highly recommend having the installation space measured by a professional.

The order minimum is 36 sq ft.

CHOOSE YOUR MATERIAL:

Custom murals can be produced using the following
tile: 3/8" glass, 3/4" glass, 7/8" square porcelain (gloss or matte
finish) and 1" hexagon porcelain (gloss or matte finish).

Please keep in mind:

- Porcelain can be used in all applications (walls, floors, pools, indoor, outdoor).

- Glass can be used in all applications except floor (walls, pools, indoor, outdoor).

- For highly detailed images or smaller spaces, we recommend selecting the 3/8” glass tile.

ORDER YOUR DESIGN PROOF:

Enter your project details on the form below.

Press the “Add To Cart” button and complete payment to submit your proof request.

There is a $30 charge for creating the design proof, which will be credited back on your tile order.

You can also submit your project details by email to service@modwalls.com.

You will receive a PDF proof that details the
placement of each individual tile in your design, as well as a color
guide detailing each color used in your mural.

You will also receive a sample tile by mail so that you can see the actual dimensions and finish of the tile in person.

Please note: The lead time to generate a design proof is 1-2 weeks.

APPROVE YOUR PROOF:

If you are happy with your proof, please contact us to place your order.

If you need to make adjustments, we will provide up to two revised proofs per image.

DESIGN PRODUCTION:

Once you've approved your proof and completed payment, your design will be sent to production.

Your design will be sheet-mounted in 1 sq ft sheets.

Each sheet will be individually labelled for installation placement.

Please note: Estimated production/transit lead time is 16-18 weeks.

INSTALLATION:

You will receive a detailed installation guide that corresponds with the labeled sheets.

We highly recommend using a professional installer for installation.

1) How long does it take to receive my custom tile design proof?

• Design proofs take 1-2 weeks to process.

2) How many tile options do you have for custom murals and patterns?

• We can create your custom mural and pattern in gloss or matte porcelain (7/8" square or 1" hex) or glass (3/4" or 3/8"). We recommend 3/8" glass for detailed designs and smaller design dimensions.

3) What is the lead time for a custom mural or pattern?

• Standard freight shipping lead time is 16-18 weeks. We also do offer air freight shipping which has a significantly shorter lead time, averaging 6-7 weeks. When we create your design proof we will generate a quote for both shipping methods.

4) Is there an order minimum for Modwalls custom murals and patterns?

• Yes, the order minimum for custom murals and patterns is 36 square feet.

5) If I don't like a color on the design proof for my custom mural or pattern can I have you change it?

• The proofs for custom murals and patterns are created directly from the image you provide us. In other words, whatever is in the image it will be on the proof. The only way to change the color tile that is in the proof is by submitting a new image with the updated color to create a brand new rendering.

6) Will proof fee be credited back to me?

• Yes, when you place your order we will credit you the fee.
